Clue Cabinet
Privacy
Effective September 17, 2026. This notice describes the Clue Cabinet preview site. It will be updated with the seller’s identity and contact details before checkout opens.
Browsing and the free game
The free game does not ask for your name or email. Its progress is stored in your browser’s local storage, not sent to our server. Resetting the game clears that saved progress. We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure page visits and selected interactions: sample downloads, demo starts and completions, game suggestions and checkout attempts. We do not use advertising pixels. Analytics excludes the private order page and strips query strings and fragments from page URLs. Event data contains only fixed game and campaign labels, never puzzle answers, emails or order IDs. We disable this analytics script when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. A recognized campaign label may be kept in session storage for your current visit and attached to a checkout order for attribution. It does not identify you across visits. How Vercel handles analytics data.
Hosting
Vercel hosts the website and may process routine request data, including IP address, browser information and security logs, to operate the service. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
When purchases open
Stripe will process payment and billing information in its hosted checkout. This site will use the order identifier, payment status, product purchased and checkout email to provide downloads and send a transactional receipt/download email through Resend. We do not receive your full card number. Purchase emails will not automatically enroll you in marketing. See Stripe’s privacy policy and Resend’s privacy policy.
Order links and retention
A private order link grants access to its purchased files. Do not share it publicly. Payment records are retained in Stripe according to the seller’s legal and accounting requirements; the final seller notice will specify the relevant retention and contact process before purchases are enabled.
